And this is where I live...

Many have requested to see pictures of where I'm living. I wanted to talk about Kenya first instead but I don't know what to say. I guess I'll post some pictures of South Africa until then. I got to Stellenbosch a few hours before everyone else in my group which meant I had first dibs on housing. This is by far the nicest housing and I'm super super lucky. We have 11 people living in the pool house... American, Dutch, and German. It's kinda like Real World South Africa. Stay tuned to see what happens when 11 strangers from all over the world live together...

Picture 1 is just a picture overlooking the city. I love the mountains :)
Picture 2 is a view of the mountains as seen from my front door.
Picture 3 is just the house from the outside.
Picture 4 is the POOL! Yeah, I have a pool.
Picture 5 is just looking over the sitting area into the kitchen. It's not the greatest picture but you can get the idea. All of the appliances are new and we have a washer and dryer that we can use for free. We also have a maid. She works five days a week. It's kinda strange for me but it's really nice to have somebody that does dishes so I think I'll be able to adapt. My room is down on the right side where you see the door to go outside.
Picture 6 is my room. I was going to wait until it was clean and unpacked to take a picture... but that will probably never happen so I just did it now. It's small but my bed is new and comfy and it came with a down comforter. If you know me at all you'll know how amazing that is.
